This interactive, hands-on session will focus on engaging topics in emerging technologies and programs where participants will learn how they can be directly applied in K-12 virtual teaching and learning. A group of experts currently implementing these programs will share experiences and expertise on how to start, maintain, and facilitate a creative and innovative program. Examples in areas such as gaming, social entrepreneurship, organizing a collaborative conference and using these tools in education to create an innovative and creative citizenry. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities with the tools presented and will spend time sharing knowledge, expertise and questions in roundtable discussions focused on emerging technologies such as Mobile Learning, Global Collaboration creating a new or innovative program.
